I failed my first year uni, if i apply for a different course will i still get student finance?
I have failed my first year psychology. I have applied to do history now and got a place. Will I receive student finance again?

I think you should feel confindent in the fact of NOT receiving any financial aid.

It depends which country you are in. The scottish loans agency gives you a possible 5 years worth of loans, which you can use for as many different courses as you like, however if those 5 years run out while you are still on a course, that's it for funding.
